Expect during our initial visit that we are just getting to know one another, moving at a pace that you control. We will discuss your needs, wants and goals. Then together we will create a plan that will lead you to your goals. The focus is on you as a whole person.
A free 15 minute phone consultation is available and recommended. The initial consultation is a 60 minute session. Length of treatment varies depending on the diagnosis/es and specific goals you have. I suggest meeting a minimum of 3 times to better assess specific length of treatment. Follow up sessions can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes and can fluctuate in time and frequency based on your current needs.
WHAT WILL NOT HAPPEN:
No scale. Standing on a scale and recording a number is not a factor to determine success. In fact, I highly encourage you to NOT weigh yourself at home. The anxiety around the scale and an arbitrary number doesn’t exist in my office so that we can focus on what is important. You, not your weight.
